I noticed Doug made a reference about the Crusades. To say Christians forced "Christianity" at the tip of a sword is incorrect. The Crusades began as a reply to Muslim expansion into lower Italy and Asia Minor (Turkey) which was part of the Byzantine Empire ruled by Emperor Alexius I. This was the catalyst to several campaigns waged by both Muslims and Europeans. There were no true attempts at conversion, just wholesale slaughter. This war was religiously motivated but it was not viewed by most of the Popes in that time period as the preferred method. However Fredrick II was excommunicated from the church during the sixth crusade for failing to invade Egypt. So there are exceptions. Many people believe that it was all about controlling Jerusalem. Though it was a focal point, the Crusades ravaged Europe and Western Asia. It pits Christians against Muslims, Greek Orthodox, Jews, Cathars and many others. There was even a Children’s Crusade though possibly ficticious it was not successful. A bit of a diatribe. In a positive note the show was interesting and definitely off the cuff. Thanks

For a Deity, it should be pretty simple for him to show up and prove that he exists. I mean, if it's so important to gather all the believers he can, one would think he would jump at the chance to remove all doubt from non-believers.

The Bible is full of examples of miracle intervention to convince non-believers.

President Obama, however, proves time and time again all the time that he exists, all over the world. He perhaps wouldn't have time to show up on our little show, but we can point to plenty of gatherings where he does show up. Can't say the same for Jesus or God.

I didn't watch much of the video but I gather that it has been over 3,000 days since you invited Jesus to show up at your location and you're indicating that he hasn't shown. If you were to invite President Obama, how many days do you think it would be before he shows up? And if it's over 3,000 will that then indicate that he doesn't exist?
