Carl Silverman chats with Bob Durgin
PAN’s Capital Area Director, Carl Silverman, discussed the Chambersburg controversy for all 3 hour-long segments of Bob Durgin’s talk show on WHP radio in Harrisburg on December 23rd.
After editing the commercials and news, each segment is only about 32 minutes. Note: At the end of hour 1 and the beginning of hour 2, the caller is “Mike,” a pizza parlor proprietor whose establishment will host PAN’s first Lebanon-area meeting in the near future.

Well I didn’t care for that one little part toward the middle of the second hour with “Amy”; I felt like it just degenerated too far.. And where are all the young teenagers in the group she was talking about, I mean, from what I remember, PAN seemed to be largely, the over-40 set.. Did you guys stumble on a fountain of youth in the past couple of years since I moved? Maybe while you were out hunting for the Invisible Pink Unicorn?
But except for that part, and except being reminded of this hyper-oppressive attitude toward us (“..Country Built On Gawd..” “..Every Knee Will Bend..”), I really did enjoy all three of these segments.
You know Carl I think you were providing these listeners and the host with some actual education. Very interesting stuff!

Very good. That was an excellent representation of the whole Chambersburg intention as has been explained consistently elsewhere by PAN for the last couple months.
The callers were hilarious. I particularly liked the woman who made an ass out of herself trying to put forward the idea that PA Non-Believers was some kind of pedaphile organization (or something like that). That was priceless. You just can’t get that kind of disconnect from reality from sane, rational people.
The thing I take away most from these interactions with believers is how much they dispise (and would prefer to disregard) the US Constitution and its amendments.

I just want to respond to Dave and let him know that I’m our webmaster, and I’m in my early 30s. We are getting more and more younger folks joining up. I just returned from our Chambersburg meeting, and we had a few younger folks show up there as well (Under 40). Ask, and the Invisible Pink Unicorn provides…
