Photos from the Sunbury Riverfest Booth
Browse and enjoy! We were at the Sunbury Riverfest on
Saturday, August 21.
- Setting up at the Fair – First thing in the morning
- Our booth is ready for business!
- We were positioned right in front of the courthouse – With the “obligatory” 10 commandments on the front of the building – We’ll have to circle back on this one later…
- Here we have a truck paid for by the municipality – With a religious bumper sticker.
- Our first heckler of the day – Brian and Tim try to fathom what the heck he’s talking about. This heckler claims we have denied our “God Conciousness”. Still don’t know what that means.
- Our booth starts drawing in onlookers.
- On the right, the lady in green is a local reporter who was chatting with this police officer and wanted to bring him over and introduce him to the godless heathens. Apparently he didn’t realize there was such a thing as an atheist booth.
- In the foreground, this gentleman, who calls himself “Shawn the Baptist” is a street preacher. Several of our people, and a few atheists that dropped by take on debating with him. Front and center is Rev. Ernest Perce, who had dropped by to say hi.
- More conversation with a Street Preacher
- Kyle, a local PAN member, debates gay rights with Shawn.
