We’re sorry, but due to “acts of god”, we are unable to produce our August show. Our producer was involved in two separate traffic jams caused by overturned tractor trailers and was unable to make it to the TV Studio.

However, we will be back on track on the fourth Tuesday of September with a brand new format. Please, come check us out then! Thanks to all of our faithful viewers for your patience!

I would just like to let all members know that Saturdays meeting at the Carriage House at UUCY is still on. As you probably know we have had some changes that we will discuss at this meeting. Everyone will have a chance to voice their opinion on the future direction of PAN. I hope you can attend as we look forward to your input.

Here’s the location details for Saturday’s York meeting. All PAN members and area freethinkers are welcome to attend. Please, if you’ve been involved in the organization for awhile, we are looking to recruit board members to replace recent vacancies on the board, and we welcome all individuals who care about the organization and have some free time on their hands to apply.

Our board meeting, where we will try and incorporate our member suggestions/comments and vote in new board members, will directly follow, time and place will be announced in this meeting.

Yes, sometimes just ask, and ye shall receive. When PA Nonbelievers noticed that the nonprofit Pride of the Susquehanna offered a free one-hour cruise each Sunday morning during the summer to a consortium of local Christian churches, we asked for a similar privilege, and the boat operators said yes! Watch the video below!

World’s First Riverboat Atheist/Humanist Service

LOCATION: City Island, Harrisburg, PA -> Pride of the Susquehanna Dock
TIME: 10:15am (Ride from 10:30am to 11:30am)

COME EARLY. The boat leaves at exactly 10:30am, and there are no reservations, so please arrive by 10:15 in order to ensure a seat. Additionally, space on the boat is first come, first serve.

If the weather is nice, pack a lunch (but leave it in your car for later…no outside food or drink allowed on the boat) and we’ll eat on City Island. If the weather is rainy, we’ll go to a nearby sub shop for eats.

Anyone interested in baseball is welcome to stay for a 2pm game between the Harrisburg Senators and the Altoona Curve at the City Island stadium.
